Libba Bray Gives Keynote Speech at ATBF12

Afternoon Kindle-ites! As I’m sure most of you know by now I had the GREAT pleasure of attending a wonderful event this weekend. Austin Teen Book Festival. And while most of it was exactly what I expected (this isn’t my first ballgame) 1 thing was not. Libba Bray.  Yes, I have read Libba’s work. Her books are awesome! But like most books I read, I read it for the book (the story)…not the author. This will NEVER be the case again when it comes to Libba. Now I will read her work because she inspires me. (It’s just a convenient bonus that her books rock!)  And, it is my great hope that after you watch her AMAZING keynote speech she will inspire you too.  I will be posting media all week from the event, but for now…here is a little about my newest girl crush.

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.
