Teaser Tuesday!

Morning Kindle-ites! Here is this weeks edition of Teaser Tuesday! What? You’ve never heard of it? Well.. let me fill you in. Teaser Tuesday is a fantastic way to get a sneak peak at book you may or may not have ever considered reading before PLUS… you get a chance to see what everyone else has to offer.

All you have to do is:

– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share (in the comments) 2 “teaser” sentences (or a paragraph…I’m not picky) from somewhere on that page (BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! you don’t want to give too much away!)
– And then tell us where you got it! (Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!)

“That’s because you’ve never been with a man, ” Lucas said as he kissed the bit of skin on her forehead that was just about to be hair.  “Now go to sleep, ” he ordered.  Helen would have argued, but she was too damn tired from fighting for her life twice in one day to do more than blink contrarily.  Lucas’s arms wove a soft basket around her mending heart and she relaxed completely into him.  She listened to the particular resonance of his breathing, a sound that she already knew so well, and fell into a deep, nightmare-free sleep.”

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.

  1. As William watched her stand there, letting the wind blow through her hair, her dress swirling around her, she dropped her book. William expected her to reach down to pick it up but instead, she stood there staring out to the ocean for several minutes. William admired her beauty and she was so beautiful standing there. It would be a memory burnt into his mind forever, because just at that moment Sarah stretched her arms from her side and like a bird, let herself fall from the cliff.
