Teaser Tuesday

Morning Kindle-ites! Here is this weeks edition of Teaser Tuesday! What? You’ve never heard of it? Well.. let me fill you in. Teaser Tuesday is a fantastic way to get a sneak peak at book you may or may not have ever considered reading before PLUS… you get a chance to see what everyone else has to offer.

All you have to do is:

– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share (in the comments) 2 “teaser” sentences (or a paragraph…I’m not picky) from somewhere on that page (BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! you don’t want to give too much away!)
– And then tell us where you got it! (Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!)

My Teaser

Page 222

“Tears upon tears splat onto the lines pages in my hands as I discover a nightmare come true.  Quickly, I wipe away the salt water so it won’t fade the ink.  Because even as my chest caves in and makes me hate the chipper birds and everything else, I know that I needed to read this today, and I need to read it again tomorrow.  For me, reading is remembering.”

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.

  1. “We’re rendered. There’s a bond between us through our tempers. I feel what he feels. I don’t just scent it. Same for him.”

She couldn’t imagine being linked with a person that way. She thought of what both Roar and Rose had said about Scires keeping to their kind. Perry leaned forward, crossing his arms over the rail.

“Being away from him, it’s like part of me is gone.”

    Title: Under the Never Sky
    Author: Veronica Rossi

I am almost done and I admit in the first 20 pages I thought I don’t know…and now I am pretty completely hooked…

    1. I felt the same way! I actually put it down & read something different for a while. But at about page 50 it started getting good & then BAM! I couldn’t put it down. I think it was the rush of info & new terminology introduced with no explanation in the beginning that hurt it. 🙂

Thanks for the teaser. My review for this book will actually be posted on Friday.
