Teaser Tuesday!

Afternoon Kindle-ites! Here is this weeks edition of Teaser Tuesday! What? You’ve never heard of it? Well.. let me fill you in. Teaser Tuesday is a fantastic way to get a sneak peak at book you may or may not have ever considered reading before PLUS… you get a chance to see what everyone else has to offer.

All you have to do is:

– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share (in the comments) 2 “teaser” sentences (or a paragraph…I’m not picky) from somewhere on that page (BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! you don’t want to give too much away!)
– And then tell us where you got it! (Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!)

I wonder whether the people remaining in the houses will be cold tonight.  If they’ve wrapped their dead in their only blankets.  They should know better.  The corpse collectors wear cloth masks, flimsy and useless to stop contagion.  They roll their cart forward a scant hundred yards and stop again, unconcerned that they’re blocking traffic.  They don’t care that we have hell-raising and carousing to do in the Debauchery District.  The Debauchery District.  The very name makes me shiver.

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.

“That’s why he’s been searching for her. He doesn’t just want her back, he needs her back.” Mark punched his fist into his open palm. “If her skill were to fall into someone else’s hands, he could be ruined, either by his secret leaking out or by someone else getting his advantage.”
