All you have to do is:

– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share (in the comments) 2 “teaser” sentences (or a paragraph…I’m not picky) from somewhere on that page (BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! you don’t want to give too much away!)
– And then tell us where you got it! (Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!)

Of Poseidon – Anna Banks

The Synopsis

Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he’s heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma’s gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom . . .

Told from both Emma and Galen’s points of view, here is a fish-out-of-water story that sparkles with intrigue, humor, and waves of romance.

My Tease – Page 25

“Emma releases Chloe to the lifeguards, nodding to them in understanding as they pry her lifeless friend from her protective grip.  The two exchange a surprised expression as they kick their way to the surface.  They lift Chloe onto the boat, but not before Emma catches a glimpse of her leg –a dangling bone from knew to ankle.  Her anguished cry siphons the last of her oxygen, the last of her will to fight.  Her body falls limp, her eyes close.”

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.

  1. The Forever Girl by Rebecca Hamilton – page 67

“I didn’t remember falling asleep at all.

Outside the window, the dark, cloudless sky and the breeze in the trees made the night air appear thin and cold, but the air in the room was almost too hot. From the corner of my vision, I saw someone standing in the middle of the road, but when I looked over, they were gone.”
