On your nightstand now: Alarm clock, lamp, cough drops, three books I judged for the RWA Rita contest (so I can’t name them!), Lover AwakenedCovet, and a drawing by one of my girls.

Favorite book when you were a child:  The Secret Garden. I even wrote a paranormal twist on it!

Your top five authors: JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephen King, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Tessa Bailey

Book you’ve faked reading: LOL! JR Ward’s Covet. It’s been on my nightstand for a while waiting to be finished. And the second book in the Outlander series, too…

Book you’re an evangelist for: Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward or anything by Tessa Bailey, who writes the best dirty talkers ever!

Book that changed your life: Twilight – it was one of the reasons I started writing fiction…

Favorite line from a book:  It’s a tie between: 1) When Zsadist writes “I LOVE YOU” in block letters to Bella, and 2) When Zsadist tells Bella, “I was dead until you found me, though I breathed. I was sightless, though I could see. And then you came…and I was awakened.”

Which character you most relate to:  Beth from Dark Lover – I related to her feelings over the father she never met and adored reading about her slow descent into a paranormal world.

Book you most want to read again for the first time: Lover Awakened by JR Ward

Tell me about YOUR book:  Hard to Be Good is the fifth book in my super sexy romantic suspense Hard Ink series. It is my first m/m title and features an opposites attract relationship between tattoo shop owner Jeremy Rixey and quiet, shy, computer geek and recent kidnapping victim, Charlie Merritt. It releases April 14!

Hard Ink Tattoo owner Jeremy Rixey has taken on his brother’s stateside fight against the forces that nearly killed Nick and his Special Forces team a year before. Now, Jeremy’s whole world has been turned upside down–not the least of which by a brilliant, quiet blond man who tempts Jeremy to settle down for the first time ever.

Recent kidnapping victim Charlie Merritt has always been better with computers than people, so when he’s drawn into the SF team’s investigation of his army colonel father’s corruption, he’s surprised to find acceptance and friendship–especially since his father never accepted who Charlie was. Even more surprising is the heated tension Charlie feels with sexy, tattooed Jeremy, Charlie’s opposite in almost every way.

With tragedy and chaos all around them, temptation flashes hot, and Jeremy and Charlie can’t help but wonder why they’re trying so hard to be good…

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.
