“’Sometimes, I wish I could give you my life for awhile. You’re so perfect and smart and you always know what to do. I bet you’d get straight A’s for me and choose all the best friends and make my life as flawless as yours.’ Her kind words felt like lashings against my jealous heart. When Bryn sat back, she’d pulled herself together, and with the exception of a few straggling tear stains on her cheeks, she looked more like her strong confident self. As if she was suddenly aware that she looked bad, she wiped the back of her hand across her face and then even that sign of vulnerability was gone.”
For months, Jesse has been envious of her twin sister Bryn and even has a crush on Bryn’s gorgeous, popular boyfriend, Quinton. When Jesse awakens from a coma to learn that everyone thinks she IS Bryn, the option of actually taking over her sister’s life is beyond tempting, but there’s a downside. She’d have to give up Ethan, her best friend and the only person she trusts. Could she actually live as Bryn for the rest of her life? And if her family and friends found out, would they ever forgive her?
Angela Carling was raised in Palm Springs, California, but now resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, three kids and five felines. After years of denial, she finally admitted that she is, in fact, a hopeless romantic, which allowed her to let down her hair and write her first book, Unbreakable Love. She always eats the frosting of her cake and cookies but leaves the rest, and can be caught singing in public bathrooms just for the acoustics. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. When she is not writing YA novels, she is secretly using her family as Guinea pigs to test what she learned in college.

The Giveaway!!
I like the cover. My favorite color is pink!! 🙂 The books sounds very interesting.
This looks so great! Thanks for sharing with us! I adore that cover as well.
Did the author have any say on the design of the book cover? Also, who in the author’s life encouraged them to sit down and write their first book?
Thanks for the giveaway!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the Becoming Bryn cover. Luckily, I was able to pick parts and pieces of the cover. I wanted something simple for this particular story and all that pink will make more sense as you read the book:) As for who inspired to sit down and write…it was actually a promise made to my middle son who once claimed “I’d never done anything hard.” Silly boy.. but I realized he was born after my education and only saw me as mom. Long story short, I wanted to show him how to stretch so I decided to pursue my lifelong dream to write:) I <3 questions, so please always feel free to contact me!
It’s different
This is a great cover, I love the colors, they are very eye catching. The story line sounds very interesting, I can’t wait to read what happens.
Thanks, I love the colors too! All that pink makes me want to go shopping:)
I like the nail polish color, any chance we know what it is?
Sadly, no I don’t know the name, but I know there is all kinds of pink going on in this story…despite Jesse’s loathing of the color:)
