Evening Kindle-ites! Here is this weeks edition of Teaser Tuesday! What? You’ve never heard of it? Well.. let me fill you in. Teaser Tuesday is a fantastic way to get a sneak peak at book you may or may not have ever considered reading before PLUS… you get a chance to see what everyone else has to offer.
All you have to do is:
– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share (in the comments) 2 “teaser” sentences (or a paragraph…I’m not picky) from somewhere on that page (BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! you don’t want to give too much away!)
– And then tell us where you got it! (Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!)
The Yard – Alex Grecian
When Walter Day, the squad’s newest hire, is assigned the case of the murdered detective, he finds a strange ally in the Yard’s first forensic pathologist, Dr. Bernard Kingsley. Together they track the killer, who clearly is not finished with The Murder Squad . . . but why?

“Maybe I have, ” Blacker said. But he said it so quietly that only Day could hear him. He leaned forward and whispered, “You’re new here, so take me at my word: a man loses control and kills his wife, a child is trampled by an omnibus, a woman poisons her neighbor, a bludger takes a man’s wallet and slices him up…Those things happen every day and that’s why we’re here. We go in and we grab hold of the killer and we lock him up. We find out why the killing was done and that takes us right to the one that did it.”
Oh! Oh! Historical fiction and Scotland Yard! Definitely adding this one to my tbr, thanks for sharing.
Sure thing! Happy Reading (when it finally comes out)
