About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.

  1. Misty, here’s a book recommendation for you: Savage Summit by Jennifer Jordan. It’s about the women who have climbed K2, the second highest mountain in the world. Fabulous read.

Can’t remember all of the questions. Went to the U.P. for vacations (also freezing there – try a swim in Lake Superior sometime) and would like a room full of books (because I AM predictable).

  2. I was on the same vacations. LOL You are lucky we even got that far. LOL When you only have $100 for vacation???????????? Hey….we did make it to Orlando one year. LOL

    1. Oh… You mean the year we went to
Disney World & I was too short for the big kid rides and too tall for the little kid rides? Yeah… That was great šŸ™‚ oh…and I remember sleeping in the car because someone forgot to book a motel & we had to drive an extra 3 hours till we finally found one with a vacancy.

  3. First of all… LOVE IT!

One room full of one thing? MONEY – big bills though.

The thing I’d do if I was sure NOT to fail? Become a well read author!!!!

Vacations? Never really did vacations, except to visit family. Montana, North Dakota and Nebraska – all VERY similar to Iowa.

  4. Great job!

    1. I’d have a room full of fine cigars and high-quality beers.

    2. If I couldn’t fail, I’d become an author.

    3. Our vacations were always either to Nags Head, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC.

  5. I thought I’d commented already, but probably on the video page.

    1. Money, definitely. Promise to give away at least 1/2 (pay it forward)

    2. Write the Great Amercian Novel

    3. We went to San Diego, ONCE. Only 1 vacation my whole childhood. Folks were stay-at-homes.

    Great dance, girlie!

  6. Hmm,

The first question is EASY – Money, a room full of $$$$$ cash, big bills only – no change!

Question two well, I ride dirt bikes, started this craziness at age 40. I hate being slow but can’t seen to muster the courage to go fast. If I could do anything without failing it would be to ride a supercross track fast hitting on the jumps full throttle!!!

The last question one summer our family (5 kids and 2 adults) drove a VW van and a pull trailer across the states-all the way from Oregon to Florida and back. The highlight was Disney World. We stopped in KOA Campgrounds along the way and counted mosquito bites for fun lol!!!
