Morning Kindle-ites!!! I just got this email from the Austin Public Library Friends Foundation and wanted to share it with all of you. Every summer APLFF hosts creative writing workshops for both children and adults. I think this is a brilliant way to help not only launch a love of reading, but to expand small minds, encourage creativity, and build confidence. Also…I have had the pleasure of reading several published works that come out of this program and let me just say…WOW! These kids are awesome! So if you have a budding author in your house (or are one yourself) take a quick look. This might just be something they would enjoy. — Misty

About Misty

Your friendly neighborhood narcissist. I'm sarcastic, cynical and a bit cranky. I own a soap box so big that sometimes I have difficulty stepping down off of it, and I'm about 94% certain I have multiple personalities. I don't sleep enough, and I read more than any person should ever consider normal. I have anger management issues, especially when I'm stuck in traffic and I have an unhealthy obsession with my Kindle. I am a vampire lovin', zombie obsessed, book-in-hand, iPod freak. You either love me or hate me. You be the judge.
