Once upon a time there lived a girl.
This girl ran a book blog. A blog that she was very very dedicated to. Because of this, she spent a lot of time on her computer. One day this girl got distracted. While trying desperately to find adequate content for her followers she happened upon a post from one of her favorite authors.
This post was unlike any other post, because this post was about Lizzie Bennett, the girls favorite fictional character in all of Fictional Character Land.
So she clicked on the link. Before she knew it…she was swept away.
9 hours had passed, before she finally looked at the clock. “Holy Crap!” she thought…out loud. “Where the helltasticals has the day gone?”
And then she realized she had done something both wonderful and horrible all at the same time. She wasted an entire day watching a vlog. She had completely forgotten about her blogging obligations and flushed an entire day down the internet toilet.
Then the girl had an idea! If SHE loved the vlog so much…others might as well.
So she took to her website and wrote a ridiculous story that would introduce all of her beautiful/wonderful/smart/totally freaking awesome/forgiving followers to the vlog that had suddenly taken over her life.
This was the vlog. Enjoy!
What IS “The Lizzie Bennet Diaries?” LBD is a modernized adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice developed by Hank Green and Bernie Su.
WTH is a “modernized adaptation?” Well, it’s where someone totally awesome (and much more creative than myself) tells a story through YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr… (I could keep going, but you get my point.)
Anyways, if you are an Austenite, you will LOVE THIS!!!
Here is a look at the first video. (If you want to catch up on EVERYTHING from the beginning….Click HERE!)
What if he’s a gay serial killer? Baha
Hahaha!! 🙂
Bwahahahahah!
I *love* The LBD! I’m totally obsessed. Okay, obsessed, that’s a pretty strong word. No, I’m keeping it.
I love the Lizzie Bennet Diaries as well! It makes me happy that fellow book bloggers are fans too. The last few episodes have been great. 😀
OMG…the tension in “Hyper-Meditation” just about killed me!! 🙂
So glad to find a fellow blogger to obsesses with!
I keep re-watching the Darcy episodes!
Those are indeed the best. 🙂
BAHAHAHAAHA! I know what I’m doing today…;0)
Come back and chat when you are caught up. I wanna talk about it sooo bad.
